Scuba Skills Update

Haven’t dived in a while or need extra practice before your open water dives? During the Scuba Skills Update at TODI, you’ll review essential diving skills under the guidance of an SSI instructor. You’ll practice buoyancy, equipment use, and safety procedures in a controlled environment.

What can you expect?

SSI Scuba Skills Update is designed for certified divers who want to refresh their skills and for Open Water Diver students who desire extra practice before their open water dives.

This program offers a structured review of essential diving skills under the guidance of a certified SSI instructor. The SSI Scuba Skills Update recognition card can only be issued after all SSI open water skills have been completed.

Depending on your experience, a 3-hour time slot may not be sufficient. Additional lessons can be requested in the form of all pool / confined water skills from the “SSI Indoor” training.

During the program, you’ll review basic procedures, safety skills, and equipment use in a controlled environment. The focus is on safety, control, and regaining confidence underwater.

SSI Scuba Skills Update focuses on skill review, correct execution of techniques, and safe preparation for further dives according to SSI standards.
