Scuba Diver

Learn to dive and build confidence underwater. During the 15-hour Scuba Diver course, you’ll combine theory with practice in TODI’s aquarium. You’ll work towards an internationally recognized certification that allows you to dive up to 12 meters deep under the direct supervision of an SSI Professional. No experience is necessary.

What can you expect?

Scuba Diver was developed for participants who want to earn a recognized diving certification and dive under the direct supervision of an SSI Professional. This program provides the necessary knowledge and skills to perform safe and controlled dives in both confined and open water.

The course combines theory and complete dive sessions in our aquarium. The focus is on developing essential diving skills, safety procedures, and underwater confidence.

Scuba Diver leads to an internationally recognized diving certification that is valid for life.

What's not allowed

How your dive proceeds

Check-in

Check in at the counter 15 minutes beforehand. You’ll receive a colored wristband – always wear it visibly, it grants access to the Experience Zone. Your 2-hour dive session starts now.

Change clothes

Put on your swimwear
Store your belongings in a locker (opened with your wristband)
Go barefoot to the fourth floor (stairs or elevator)
Bring your own dive gear with you

Disinfect gear & shower

Go through the foot bath and take a shower
Pick up rented gear
Disinfect it in the sink and rinse.
Shower again before entering the water

After your dive

Disinfect your gear
Return the gear
Change clothes
Deposit your wristband in the box – within 2 hours.

Certification and follow-up opportunities

After completing the program:

The participant receives a Scuba Diver certification
The diver may dive under the direct supervision of an SSI Professional
Maximum depth: 12 meters

After Scuba Diver, you can continue with the Open Water Diver course:

After completing all theory lessons and pool skills
2 open water dives
