- No prior diving experience required
- Basic comfort in the water is sufficient
- Minimum age: 15 years
Indoor Diver
Learn to dive in a familiar environment with clear water and stable conditions. During the 20-hour Indoor Diver course, you’ll combine theory with practice at TODI. You’ll earn a certification that allows you to dive in recognized indoor dive centers with a buddy who is at least equally qualified. No experience is necessary.
What can you expect?
Indoor Diver is designed for participants who want to earn a full diving certification within a controlled “indoor” diving environment.
The training takes place in our indoor diving facility, where conditions such as depth, visibility, and water movement are stable and predictable. This allows participants to fully focus on developing skills and comfort underwater.
Indoor Diver leads to a globally recognized lifelong diving certification.

What's not allowed

How your dive proceeds
Check-in
Check in at the counter 15 minutes beforehand. You’ll receive a colored wristband – always wear it visibly, it grants access to the Experience Zone. Your 2-hour dive session starts now.
Change clothes
- Put on your swimwear
- Store your belongings in a locker (opened with your wristband)
- Go barefoot to the fourth floor (stairs or elevator)
- Bring your own dive gear with you
Disinfect gear & shower
- Go through the foot bath and take a shower
- Pick up rented gear
- Disinfect it in the sink and rinse.
- Shower again before entering the water
After your dive
- Disinfect your gear
- Return the gear
- Change clothes
- Deposit your wristband in the box – within 2 hours.
Certification and follow-up opportunities
After completing the program:
- The participant receives an Indoor Diver certification
- The diver may dive with a buddy who is at least equally qualified within recognized indoor diving facilities to a maximum depth of 18m.
The diver can progress to advanced courses, such as:
- Open Water Diver with an upgrade of 2 outdoor dives.
- Advanced courses within the SSI system
These next steps further expand the diving possibilities.
